​Judy currently lives in Wenatchee, Wa., with her cat, Gracie. She graduated from high school in Iowa, attended college in Oregon, moved to Washington to become principal at a Christian school and has retired from two careers. She raised her four children, has eight grandchildren and four greats. Her activities include writing, reading, college basketball (Go Zags) and overseeing the packing of boxes for Operation Christmas Child through Samaritan’s Purse at Cashmere Baptist Church. She has read stories to school children, Sunday school children, youth camps, vacation bible schools and all her own kids and grandkids for more than sixty years.
